Towline Peer Support Programme

If you have questions or concerns about your psychological well being, Towline PSP provides a confidential, responsive and relevant service. Initial contact is with a trained AirTanker pilot volunteer.

We are here for you.

We are a service using trained volunteer pilots to support their fellow flight crew colleagues. The volunteer pilots are there to listen without judgement. Many issues can be resolved before they become a problem by talking to someone who is a trained listener and knows what it's like to be a pilot.

Your Peer Support Programme is governed to the highest professional and medical standards of confidentiality. It is administered by the leading specialists in this field, the Centre for Aviation Psychology and the volunteers are fully supported by them.

"Sometimes the best person to talk to is someone who knows exactly what it's like to be a pilot."

Prefer an External Peer?

We understand that in the current times you might prefer to speak to a trained pilot peer who does not work in your airline. Fortunately, this is possible through an exchange agreement between many of the peer support programmes managed by the The Centre for Aviation Psychology. All the peers have been trained and operate to the same standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

If you would like to use this facility, please send us a confidential email  and we will be happy to arrange contact with a suitable peer outside of your airline.
